  3. Please quote your sources for that assumption. You know facts, rather than your fantasies? There are rules for qualifying for council housing. And you can be sure, most Brits don't want to be stuck in a box on the 20th floor. They want a nice house with a garden and a garage. That's why refugees get the human shoe box treatment, because nobody wants that type of social housing unless there is no other choice. And why so much social housing is of poor quality and often not fit for human habitation. You don't care about social housing. You know nothing about it. But now you want them for Brish people? How many British people died in Grenfell Tower? Do you know? Of course not.

  10. I doubt Mr Anderson is concerned about council houses. After all, he would hardly now count as one as being in need of one, as his bank balance of around £5m would preclude him. You don't get that kind on money digging coal.

You can blame the Norman Conquest for the fact that the English language is interwoven with French influences, and that our unfortunate obsession with class thinks that's posh. After all our Royal family still sports a French phrase as their motto 'Dieu et mon droit'.

  13. Class snobbery needs to die in our culture, and living in council houses is nothing to be ashamed of when an artificial asset bubble precludes ordinary hard working people from owning their own home. Snobbery is another form of tribalism and petty mindedness.
