Stamer is still naive about how to handle divisons in the party. Politics is emotional and interpersonal and political relationships needs emotional intelligence to manage well. And any large group is not a monolith. There will be always differences of opinion. The problem 8s that it can degrade into partisanship and out grouping people. What he doesn't realise is that how he handles these creates an indelible perception of him which is at best sceptical, and at worst, distrustful. He's got a silo mentality, and he's missing this tendency building up. He should know better as a lawyer, not to make this personal, and to build bridges.
