That's why according to some South Korea's population is way below replacement level, and as a people they are going to disappear, because they are hypercapitalist, and young people are growing up in a culture that is competitive from the time they can walk. Accordingly, they far too long hours, don't earn enough, and have given up on marriage and children. And their government doesn't consider that poverty and no work-life balance might be the most effective contraceptive. We need to dump the gerontocracies and listen to young people.

The relationship between higher education and business is problematic when universities are funded by donations. Indeed, money has been found to corrupt academic outputs in many ways. Just like politics.

Why wouldn't be ethical to teach media literacy in schools. What's wrong with educating people to be sceptical about information that comes from an environment where bots are estimated to be 50% of active users? And where these accounts are seeding misinformation and disinformation? Not only that, but social media has a paedophile problem too. Roblox is not alone in that. So would you rather have vulnerable children untrained in how to recognise such problematic content?

Read @Trudarklander's comment below yours. It's not Keynes' fault that his quote is the most famous quote always dragged out when this top8is discussed. And even he didn't envisage AI coming for both white collar and blue collar jobs at the same time. So, we might get the shorter working week quite soon. Whether we get the same money is another question.

Never let the truth spoil a good reality tunnel, right? Even it's disconnected from reality and evidence.

Conspiracy theories are 99% false. 5he truth is often boring, but conspiracy theories are attractive and makes feel smarter than other people. Or, having an explanation for a disturbing event - even if it's not true - leaves our reality tunnels undisturbed. (Google it.) Conspiracy theories are just theories. Models, supposition, built up from beliefs and biases. Truth is far slippery and chaotic than conspiracy theories.
