  5. PS US is giving nothing for free. If they were, Ukraine wouldn't need to borrow and extend it's credit limit. The only people not getting paid are the US Govt decommissioning contractors. All the stuff going to Ukraine is nearby their Best Before Date, and the US is restocking. So... The real problem for the US is that tax revenues with consumer spending are down, and the AI bubble is close to its popping point.
