  2.  @charliepearce8767  I just didn't realise the banks were giving customers grief if they want a large cash withdrawal, if they are, that's a bit naughty of them, although it wouldn't surprise me, I don't have much respect for the banking industry.

  3. My guess is that maybe the banks don't actually hold too much cash onsite, so that's why they ask for a prior notice?

  5.  @charliepearce8767  nah not really mate, I usually use Netbank transfers (just to have a backup record). The last time I withdrew a large amount of cash was around early 2006, and even that was only about $6K.
