@maxbeckmann3063 no Suleiman conquered Belgrade, Hungary, Romania and Iraq. He was the best ruler of his dynasty though not the best conqueror. His successors were mostly trash, I admit that.

During his reign Seljuks had a huge territory map consisting the central Asia, Persia, Anatolia and Levant, so yeah the title is well earned.

@AtamMardes Most gullible and stupid people I see are those who blindly believe whatever the mainstream media and academics teach them in name of science and history, which are nothing but a collection of bunch of human experiments and studies, which keeps changing all the time based on newer findings, but unfortunately they don't have the brains to realize that science and history are very limited and have a certain narrative each so there's not really a solid ground to take those as facts.

@tananata9657 not really, dayif hadith means weak. The weak category hadith are not fabricated, they're just not from strong sources that's it, but many the dayif hadith can be true, specially many end time hadiths which already came true. Then the 3rd category is maudu which's called fabricated, though most of these 3rd category hadith are not authentic because of broken or no chain, still some of these hadith sometimes turns out to be true or useful. Even the fabricated hadith are better preserved than bible or any other religious scripture.

This guy is obviously an islamophobe, otherwise no historian would deny that Arab Caliphate was number one not just in Asian history but also the whole world. No one else ruled nearly as justly and prosperously over such a vast territory as them. Their social, political, cultural, scientific influence is unmatched in history. Mongols did conquer larger territory but they could only hold on to them for only a couple of centuries and they had very little social or cultural influence in history. Using the excuse that they have more descendants today is the lamest excuse, it has no logic whatsoever. As for the Ottomans, they had little to do with Asia. Their capital was in Europe, most of their territories were in Europe, and their most political affairs were of Europe as well. Also not listing the Sassanids exposed the ignorance of the admin. Even they would rank higher than mongols if it was considered based on social, political, cultural influence over the world in long term.

Ottomans doesn't belong in Asian list. Mongols were nowhere close to Arab caliphate if all factors are taken into account. Even if they add timurid and baburid dynasty to it. Their overall influence in world history is nowhere close the Caliphate in any matter. Only thing they had is a larger territory at it's max to which they only held on to for little over a century.

Even if you include timurid and mughals, still they don't come close to the Arab caliphate in terms of social, political, cultural, religious and scientific influence. Nah it was stupid, bcz they said the list wasn't only based on territory size. Mongols had very little impact in the long term, very little compared to many other dynasties. Arab caliphate is the only logical number 1 compared to any dynasty in history if every factor is taken into consideration

@joshygoldiem_j2799 there's no islamic denomination. Islam is 1 religion with no sects. The Quran is clear about that. Whatever some minor cults say is irrelevant. Shi'ism isn't Islam, period. After you accept that only then you can find out the correct answer to your questions.

There are some basic principles of Islamic theology, if some groups doesn't accept those or their sayings go against it then they can't be considered Muslims, as simple as that. Still shias are considered Muslims only bcz of history, as well as their own claims that they are Muslims. We Muslims also claim that we are more Christians than the so called Christians themselves, does that mean Muslims should be considered Christians too? Hope you get my point now.

@alissa6 actually Cyrus was a monotheist. Darius followed same Zoroastrianism as Cyrus but him later king could've changed the matters of theology. He also killed Cambysis. Darius' character is not as fitting as Cyrus, bcz he didn't adventure to the east and the west or conquer it like Cyrus did. Darius only went in Egypt, Fars, Babylon and Levant. He's also not seen as a savior of anybody. Cyrus was also a more loved ruler than Darius.

@alexalexis7121 Idiot they're talking about Muslim scholars in general, not non-muslim scholars. Cyrus being Dhulkernain is accepted more than Alexander, also comparing the two historical characters, it's obvious Cyrus matches more with the character mentioned in Quran more than anybody.
