  2.  @CityofShamballah  your claim has no basis whatsoever. Cheetahs have been clocked 68-70 mph by many researchers in Africa. Pronghorn is considered 2nd fastest only because it can maintain top speed for longer than true antelopes. I can name at least 3 antelopes who has greater top speeds than pronghorn, such as- Springbok, Thompson's Gazelle and Common Tsessebe, all 3 of them has been clocked over 90 km/h, pronghorns recorded speed is 55 mph, 60 mph is estimated only. Speeds of Blackbuck, wildebeest, hartebeest, Impala and other gazelles are also very close. There's no doubt that Cheetahs can catch pronghorns.
