  2. Even having seen a previous video I doubt people would think of the phones in the moment of shock. And if they do know about it they'll also know that the phones have special tracking enabled. Basically they'd need to remember the video and then endure the fart spray to get the phones out, but then the phones will still be locked and tracking them. To get the phones usable they'd need to bypass the reset protection and then change the IMEI to one which isn't blacklisted. While it's certainly possible to get the phones usable it is well outside the capabilities of most tech enthusiasts, let alone random porch thieves.

  4. But Mark sends out these packages to porch volunteers all around the country. Plus if the thieves all move away then Mark still managed to stop his packages and his neighbors' from being stolen, which is still a win in my mind.
