  1. Firefox is good enough for PDFs so a dedicated PDF viewer offers minimal extra value. On Windows the default viewer is Edge and I haven't heard anyone complain. Eye of GNOME was on the list so you can view pictures, and yes they should include a media player.

  2. OBS and Wine definitely do not need to be in a default install. They're not used by the average user.
