  1. If it came with 7 it should be able to run Windows 10 well. If you upgraded to 7 on an XP-era machine you probably can't run Windows 10. Anyone using this old a PC as a primary general computer should upgrade their hardware but if you use it to play old games IMO you should be able to.

  2. You've really never seen a PC that will run 7 but not 10? A typical Pentium 4 system runs 7 fine but 10 only supports the latest P4 variants.

  3.  @giovanigeorgis3848  Windows Vista was the newest version of Windows going into 2009. For 2008 era desktops the 3GHz Core 2 Duo E8400 was far from top of the line. With 8GB of RAM you can do a lot with those systems. I sometimes use a 2.1GHz? C2D laptop as a secondary system (now with SSD) and some sites are a bit slow but it's still usable.
