  1. Disabling UAC isn't a security concern if you know what you're doing. Just use a non-Administrator account and manually elevate only when needed. It's probably more secure doing this than running everything in a UAC-limited Administrator. Still, I don't get the point of disabling UAC. Other than some severe annoyances if using network drives it doesn't hurt.
