  1. Oddly enough I took apart the same Intermatic model D111 timer after it started acting up. Mine has a polarized plug (and socket) and a white dial but is otherwise identical. I always found it odd that it needed to be plugged in upside down. For completeness sake the motor has many poles so the rotor turns at much less than 3600 rpm.
