  2. All else being equal a cassette adapter will give better audio quality than an FM transmitter. Of course if either adapter has a builtin bluetooth receiver or MP3 player or whatever the quality of that will likely make more of a difference. A wired cassette adapter plugged into a physical headphone jack sounds great.
