  1. Dont disagree with anything said. The only thing i would add is that paying employees more does not increase productivity at all. Workers might be happy for a short period after the increase but then it reverts to the mean. So yes it does make a lot of sense to not give a shit about employees pay as long as you can replace those workers that leave. Things that incrase productivity i find: Less working time - meaning more gets done in less time. And less stress. But for most jobs the company needs someone to cover each part of the day and also laws in a lot of countries make it hard to actually work less than full time still.
