  1. As a European I find it shocking and amazing that Americans don't understand how tariffs work !! They basically just think that Europe , Canada , Mexico China pays the cost hahahaaha!! They don't understand that is their own companies that pays the import tariffs hahaha !!! The only benefit (and that is still debatable )with imposing tariffs is to protect your own domestic market and try and get your own local population to by local products produced products and not buy the same products that are imported as those product will cost more becouse of the cost of tariffs (a good exs is cars if you want your local brads sold more domestically that could be a solution ) or try and force if you are trying to force foreign companies to sett up shop / production within your country, so they can be seen as local produced for your domestic market ... BUT NONE OF THAT EVER WORKS OUT !!  Why becouse the counties you just enforced tariffs on ; will retaliate your export to them with import Tariffs to protect their own domestic market as well !!! ITS A LOOSE LOOOSE !
