A GOOD EXS. OF THE LEND -LEASE DEAL IS THE STUDEBAKER TRUCK  Of that total 200,000 built between 1941 -1945 the United States shipped 152,000 trucks to the Soviet Union, mainly through the Persian Corridor. (The Studebaker US6 (G630) was a series of 2 1⁄2-ton 6×6 and 5-ton 6×4 trucks manufactured by the Studebaker Corporation and REO Motor Car Company during World War II. The basic cargo version was designed to transport a 2 1⁄2-short-ton (5,000 lb; 2,300 kg) cargo load over any type of terrain in any weather. Most of these were exported to the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease by the USA during World War II, The US6 was manufactured primarily for export under Lend-Lease. The Soviet Union would become the largest foreign operator. The first Studebaker US6 trucks arrived in the USSR in the autumn of 1941. The Red Army organized a test of eleven 6×6 "Studebekkers" (as they become referred to in the USSR) which took place between July 1942 and May 1943. Large numbers of Studebaker US6 trucks were supplied to the Soviet Union via the Persian Corridor in Iran under the USA's Lend-Lease program. The truck fulfilled many important roles in service with Soviet military forces during the war, such as towing artillery pieces and anti-tank guns and transporting troops over long distances. It was renowned for its overall ruggedness and reliability, including its ability to run on poor-quality fuel. The Soviet Red Army also found them to be a suitable platform for conversion into Katyusha rocket launchers, The truck became affectionately known as the Studer by Soviet troops and was even recognised of its importance (to the Soviet war effort) by Joseph Stalin, who sent a personal letter of appreciation to Studebaker, in which he thanked it for the superb quality of the US6 for Soviet service. Some Studebaker US6 trucks that were shipped to the Soviet Union during WWII and decommissioned from service after 1945 had their cabs and plumage taken off and used in the prototypes of the GAZ-51 truck, which eventually underwent mass production in 1946. The construction of the Studebaker US6 strongly influenced the construction of the postwar ZIS-151 truck, which then evolved into the ZIL-157 truck which remained in production up until 1995.

Over 400,000 full-wheel-drive vehicles that allowed the military to motorize, like the Germans even the Soviets only had models of American commercial trucks from the thirties unfit for off-road. The T34/85 radios were made in the USA -  and over 17,821 fighter jets, 3,000 carrier planes, 1,000 ASW seaplanes, 20,768 armored vehicles, 15,631 cannons, 131,633 machine guns. Russia invading Ukriane back 2014 and Georgia back in 2008 and now all out war with Ukraine from 2022++ just showed, why it was and still is a good idea for those Eastern European countries to join NATO, and the EU  because if they didn't they might just have got invaded as well . During Soviet times those Eastern countries where nothing but quasi Russia puppet states and where totally exploited by Russia under under its heel and boot. If those eastern European countries didn't join NATO then they couldn't have guaranteed their own future continuous independence from Russia by themselves . Everyone believed Saddam when he said he had weapons and why not believe he had only some years before in the IRAN /IRAQ war used such weapons so there was not reason to not to believe him and he was offered several time to prove he did not have and let the UN weapons inspectors in to confirm or disconfirm if he had those weapons that everyone believed he had and he refused to let in the UN weapons inspectors (by the way how was french not American ) and the UN Security Council that Russia and CHINA are members of and has veto vote in (so they can use veto vote to block anything they want )did not have any problem in the United Nations Security Council and US demanding Saddam follow the restriction and demands that was imposed by the United Nations Security Council at they time !! All Red Army's wool coats came from the U.S. in addition to canned meat and flour (4,478,000 tons of food supplies). 2,670,000 tons of petroleum products including high octane airplane gasoline. Over 400,000 full-wheel-drive vehicles that allowed the military to motorize, like the Germans even the Soviets only had models of American commercial trucks from the thirties unfit for off-road. The T34/85 radios were made in the USA -  and over 17,821 fighter jets, 3,000 carrier planes, 1,000 ASW seaplanes, 20,768 armored vehicles, 15,631 cannons, 131,633 machine guns. Russia invading Ukriane back 2014 and Georgia back in 2008 and now all out war with Ukraine from 2022++ just showed, why it was and still is a good idea for those Eastern European countries to join NATO, and the EU  because if they didn't they might just have got invaded as well .
