  2. some ppl. are now saying why does Ukraine not just let Russia have the areas /land it’s just a small part of Ukraine anyway..... A small part of Ukraine ...WE ARE taking about a land mass is almost 200,000 sq km In EU terms thats the size of Belgium, Holland, luxembourg and Greece all put together.. In UK terms that the size of all of Scotland , Wales and 80% of England all put together !! In US terms is the size of South Carolina, West Virginia and New Jersey all put together !! Why the f. should Ukraine give Russia all that land for what? TO ONLY be invaded some years later when Russia as had a brake and regrouped ,rebuilt its army and fortified positions !! I SAY RUSSIA GETS TO TAKE LAND AND DEMAND UKRAINE CAN NOT JOIN NATO IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL !! Nobody wants to be a "buffer country".  NO nation wants to have a little bit of freedom !!!! ; The whole concept is demeaning to an independent nation. NO nation wants to have a little bit of freedom  and self-determination, like some sort of 2nd class country; That is not right, and Russia has no right to demand or bully Ukrainians or Ukraine to accept that Ukraine and its ppl. should become some sort of lap dog on a leash 2nd class country to serve kremlins geopolitical agenda; so Kremlin, Putin and RuZZans can feel better about themselves ... ---------It is embarrassing that the US and Europe do not support Ukraine more than they do , the US. were in Afghanistan for 20 years and achieved less than Ukraine in 2 years, and Ukraine is also a much stronger opponent with many more resources !! As a Norwegian I am ashamed of our policies in the west , the western nations governments use every opportunity to go on national TV and tell how much they support, but the truth is that we have only provided 94 Euros per inhabitant, it is ridiculous when we look at the size of Ukraine, the opponent and the way Russia has bombed cities in Ukraine back to the Stone Age, and that we (western nations ) have not lost a single person in the war , we are talking about Europe, democracy and freedom that Ukraine is defending , one can only be ashamed

  3. It might be useful to recap some of the reason why Russia is now an outcast : Russian interference in numerous elections and referendums in EU countries over the last decade; Russia's active disinformation campaigns across the EU; Russian-based cyber attacks targeting numerous EU countries; Provocative Russian military flights in and around EU and NATO airspace; Russia's interference with GPS navigation systems in Scandinavia; Russia's continued deployment of "peacekeepers" in Moldova despite that country's repeated requests that Russian troops be replaced with UN peacekeepers; Russia's 2008 war against Georgia and its continued occupation of some 20 percent of Georgian territory; Russia's 2014 annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region; Russia's intense involvement in the war in eastern Ukraine, which the ICC in November 2016 ruled "an international armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation"; Russia's obstructionism in implementation of the Minsk agreements to end the Ukraine conflict; Russia's role in acts of terrorism in the 2014 downing of a passenger airliner (Malaysia Airlines MH17) over Ukraine that killed 298 people; Russia's poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006; Russia's attempted assassination of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal in Salisbury in 2018; among lots of other things to much to even list up .. NONE OF THIS ABOVE WAS SOMETHING THE EU , THE USA OR EVEN NATO, FORCED OR TRICKED RUSSIA INTO DOING !!! RUSSIA’S INVASION OF UKRAINE in 2014 VIOLATED INTERNATIONAL LAW: 1. The Geneva Convention. 2. Charter of the United Nations 3. The Helsinki Accords 4. The Charter of the OSCE 5. Budapest Memorandum of 1994 6. Two Russia, Ukraine friendship treaties 7. International Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Racial Discrimination 8. European Court of Human Rights THE LEGAL FACTS WHY CRIMEA BELONGS TO UKRAINE . The earlier published documents, and materials that have emerged more recently make clear that the transfer of Crimea from the RSFSR to the UkrSSR was carried out in accordance with the 1936 Soviet constitution, which in Article 18 stipulated that “the territory of a Union Republic may not be altered without its consent.” The proceedings of the USSR Supreme Soviet Presidium meeting indicate that both the RSFSR and the UkrSSR had given their consent via their republic parliaments. One of the officials present at the 19 February session, Otto Kuusinen, even boasted that “only in our country [the USSR] is it possible that issues of the utmost importance such as the territorial transfer of individual oblasts to a particular republic can be decided without any difficulties.” One might argue that the process in 1954 would have been a lot better if it had been complicated and difficult, but no matter how one judges the expeditiousness of the territorial reconfiguration, the main point to stress here is that it is incorrect to say (as some Russian commentators and government officials recently have) that Crimea was transferred unconstitutionally or illegally. The legal system in the Soviet Union was mostly a fiction, but the transfer did occur in accordance with the rules in effect at the time. Moreover, regardless of how the transfer was carried out, the Russian Federation expressly accepted Ukraine’s 1991 borders both in the December 1991 Belovezhskaya Pushcha accords (the agreements that precipitated and codified the dissolution of the Soviet Union) and in the December 1994 Budapest Memorandum that finalized Ukraine’s status as a non-nuclear weapons state. Summary: former states of the USSRs are now full independent states and their borders are defined and recognized by not just the international community , the UN and intr. org. treaties and agreements but when it comes to UKRAINE Russia itself RECOGNIZED Ukraines borders and territory in the 1991 ( Belovezhskaya Pushcha accords ) and in 1994 with the Budapest Memorandum and Russian back in 1991 recognized all the other internal borders of the USSR as international boards that now defines all the other different countries sovereign statehood . Those borders Russia recognized when it came to Ukraine clearly puts Crimea within Ukrainian territorial control . Period.

  4.  @tasospanagiotou7823  SOME SAY; Every country has it's own national interest we should respect that OK AND SO DOES UKRAINE AND THEY WANT TO JOIN THE EU AND NATO AND RUSSIA SHOULD RESPECT THAT AND THEY DON'T !! AND ON A SIDE NOTE : NATO is already 500 km from Moscow via Latvia and 150 km from St, Petersburg via Estonia so the argument that NATO will get closer to Moscow if Ukraine joins NATO is BS there is 800 km from Kyiv to Moscow .. And her is a thought If every neighbor you have is running to begging NATO to let them join NATO is it becouse you are such a nice and good neighbor? Or is it because you act like a bully and are aggressive and invade your neighbor lands sending in troops and tanks Hungary 1956, Czechoslovakia 1968, Poland 1980 Moldova 1990-91, Georgia 2008, East Ukraine / Crimea 2014 ++ And now a full scale attempt at an invasion of all of Ukraine 2022+++ Russia eats eats eats its victims and then blames its victims for eating them !! Maybe if you act in a more nicer way, then your neighbors will liked you more and maybe your neighbors in your neighborhood will want to be around you as well .. The former satellite states like Poland,Romania,Czech Republic and The Baltic states, Slovakia ect ect was running to and knocking at the front door of EU and NATO begging to come inn and thats the truth !! . If Russia was not such a asshole country and stoped constantly bulling neighboring countries maybe other neighboring countries will not need to join NATO and by more open and welcoming to Russia ..

  5. Let’s look at Ukraine’s disgraced former president, the legitimately elected Victor Yanukovych. After Victor Yanukovych he fled to Russia the idea that he remained the legitimate head of state, and therefore the manner in which he was replaced was automatically illegitimate, was commonplace. This line of thinking was heavily promulgated by his new host country for reasons that are self-evident. But was it right, or even logical, to claim this? The legitimacy of the Yanukovych regime indeed began with a fair election, albeit an election in which the Ukrainian people had no good choices. But could that legitimacy go on unquestioned despite the blatant grand scale theft of state resources? No. Of course it could not. Common hooligans and thugs were brought to Kyiv by the Yanukovych authorities (first recorded on Nov. 29, 2013 when the Maydan demonstrations was just a few days old) to terrorize the residents of the capital. This acts was completely in contradiction to Article 3 of the constitution that Yanukovych was elected to uphold. It was right to question Yanukovych’s legitimacy after this. Can the legitimacy of a ruling authority survive past the blatantly illegal adoption of laws designed to end democracy and create a dictatorship? No. Of course it cannot. Yet, this is what the Yanukovych controlled Party of Regions attempted to do on Jan. 16, 2014. Later analysis of images taken in parliament that while 235 MPs were declared to have voted for these “dictatorship” laws, only about half of this number of MPs were actually in the session hall when the vote was taken (by a show of hands – also illegal.) After such clearly anti-democratic and dishonest actions, can anyone consider that authority to be legitimate? The actions were a breach of Article 5 of Ukraine’s constitution - something that Yanukovych was under oath to protect and uphold. But he failed to keep his word. There were more violations of the constitution by Yanukovych, its supposed protector. Article 27 of Ukraine’s constitution says that “Every person shall have the inalienable right to life. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of life.” Yet Yuri Verbitsky, a 42 year old geologist from Lviv, was kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by forces belonging to the Yanukovych regime between Jan. 22 and Jan. 25 of 2014. That Yanukovych had already lost any legitimacy by this point should be beyond question. Later, of course, came the deaths of many more people on Jan. 18 and then Jan. 20, after which Yanukovych fled to Russia, insisting his authority and position were still legitimate. Define legitimate. The idea that legitimacy carries on from appointment without further question is a complete fallacy. It is something that we should refuse to accept. An elected leader most certainly can lose their legitimacy through illegal and/or unconstitutional, actions. The most recent public attempt at increasing the fog blurring the distinction between legitimately elected and legitimate comes from Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Bottom line, they are not the same, although it is easy to see why Russia’s ruling clan would seek to pretend that they are.

  7. NATO is a "threat" to Russia in the sense that a cop on the beat is a "threat" to a mugger. NATO wouldn't have been formed in the first place if Stalin had not rejected the US offer of the same Marshall Plan which so benefited the rest of Europe everywhere it was instituted, Stalin was instead bent every effort to CONQUER and dominate European neighboring states and expand Russia, borders with its concept of "sphere of influence " over the near abroad.. We need to understand that Russia didn't come to encompass 11% of earth's land area, by being invaded by other countries; Russia did so by invading far more other countries, than it was itself invaded by ; Remember Russia is a Federation of states , and the Russian part of that federation is the smallest state in the "Russian federation.". (Russia with a total area of 17,098,242 Km² (6,601,665 mi²) and a land area of 16,376,870 Km² (6,323,142 mi²), equivalent to 11% of the total world's landmass ) In history MANY and ALL countries have been invaded frequently by their neighbors throughout all of history. Was Russia invaded more than France? Germany? Poland in HISTORY ? NO IT WAS NOT !!! So this acting the victim, when it comes to the west, that Kremlin does all the time, .. This buhhh the evil-west AGGRESSIVE west always invades us always is attacking us Buhhhh; This is why we see western NATO as a danger buhhhh !!!! THIS TYPE OF ACTING THE VICTEM  is absolute and nothing more and less than Kremlin BS is is done so you overlook the facts and to pull the smoke over your eyes !!! .. Do i need to mention all of eastern Europe was under brutal Russian regime, hegemonic control for over 40 years .. ?? And that historical Russia has invaded and occupied way more of its neighbors then vice versa ! RUSSIA GETS TO TAKE LAND IS NOT ACCEPTABLE !! Nobody wants to be a "buffer country". The whole concept is demeaning to an independent nation. NO nation wants to have a little bit of freedom and self-determination like a type of 2nd class country; that is not right, and Russia has no right to demand or bully Ukrainians or Ukraine to accept to be some sort of lap dog on a leash 2nd class country, that indirectly will serving the kremlins geopolitical agenda, and so Kremlin, the RuZZians and Putin can feel better about themselves ... All the Eastern European countries has more or less joined NATO because they was scared of Russia and want make sure they will stay independent, (and the same goes for the EU financial independence ) Nobody forced Eastern European countries to join , NATO or the EU all of them came running and begging and knocking on the door of NATO and EU by themselves, asking and begging to be let into The EU and NATO  !! Russia invading Ukraine back 2014 and Georgia back in 2008 and now all out war with Ukraine from 2022++ just showed, why it was and still is a good idea for those Eastern European countries to join NATO, and the EU  because if they didn't they might just have got invaded as well . During Soviet times those Eastern countries were nothing but quasi Russia puppet states and were totally exploited by Russia under under its heel and boot. If those eastern European countries didn't join NATO then they couldn't have guaranteed their own future continuous independence from Russia by themselves . Nato did nothing wrong, the only mistake was Ukraine not joining NATO to ensure their independence !!!

  8.  @tasospanagiotou7823  US. and UK., gave Ukraine a guarantee of protecting Ukraine sovereignty and territorial integrity based on the 1991 borders that included Crimea and east Ukraine Luhansk and Donbass.. As of the result of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, US., gave Ukraine a guarantee that the US, stands now as a grantor of Ukraine sovereignty , becouse Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons and back then, Ukraine had the world's third-largest nuclear weapons stockpile !! This guarantee was reconfirmed by United States when in 2009 released a statement that the memorandum's security assurances would still be respected after the expiration of the START Treaty After the annexation of Crimea by in 2014, The US, Canada, the UK, France along with other countries, stated that Russian involvement was a breach of its obligations to Ukraine under the Budapest Memorandum and in violation of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity. Let me explain and give some Content !! According to the Budapest Memorandum of 1994, Russia, the US and the UK confirmed their recognition of Ukraine becoming parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning their nuclear arsenal to Russia and that they would: 1. Respect Ukrainian independence and sovereignty in the existing borders. 2. Refrain from the threat or the use of force against Ukraine. 3. Refrain from using economic pressure on Ukraine to influence their politics. 4. Seek immediate action to provide assistance Ukraine if they "should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used". 5. Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against Ukraine. 6. Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments We need to understand that EITHER the word/ deals and / or the grantees of the west are worth something or they are not !!

  11. The Black Sea countries are many!! And Then Black Sea does not belong to Russia that’s a myth !! Bulgaria, (NATO ) Romania (NATO) Turkey (NATO) Ukraine (NATO partner ) Georgia (NATO partner) So in-fact ANY NATO country members navy and or air force is within their full right to sail and be within the Black Sea, as non of the Black Sea Nations (That have a real and legal int. recognized cost-line not like Russia ) have any problem with NATO ships being in their waters and even the non NATO members like Ukraine and Georgia, even more so then the NATO nations, want and are begging for more NATO ships to come and be in the BLACK SEA ! (NATO nations of the black sea are in-fact real black sea nations not like Russia stealing land then claiming to be the owner of that land and sea ) Coastline length to the black see by country/ Country Coastline length (km) Turkey 1,329km (NATO) Ukraine 2,782km (NATO partner ) Bulgaria 354km (NATO) Georgia 310km (NATO partner ) Romania 225km (NATO) AND ON A SIDE NOTE : The western NATO-alliance is already 500 km from Moscow via Latvia and 150 km from St, Petersburg via Estonia so the argument that NATO will get closer to Moscow if Ukraine joins NATO is BS there is 800 km from Kyiv to Moscow .. (And lets not forget the last time when "Russia" got closer to NATO it was in-fact Russia own doing, by invading and annexing Crimea in 2014 "Russia" came right up-to and ended inside the NATO countries BLACK SEA maritime territorial waters !!) And her is a thought .. If every neighbor you have is running to NATO begging NATO to let them join; is it becouse you are such a nice and good neighbor? Or is it because you act like a bully and are aggressive and invade your neighbors lands sending in troops and tanks Hungary 1956, Czechoslovakia 1968, Poland 1980 Moldova 1990-91, Georgia 2008, Ukraine 2014 ++ and now Kazakhstan 2022+++ and Ukraine 2022 (soon to come ) ?? 13. PUTIN IS NOT RESPONSIBLE  THE RUSSIAN PPL. ARE !!   Understand this:  It was NOT Putin who made Russia or Russians , it was Russians and Russia that made and created Putin and it is the Russian ppl and Russia that supports this war and made it possible !! Putin is just a Russian political animal and as a political animal he dose and says what he understands and knows will hold him in power and what the Russian ppl. like love and agree with , and the fact they have voted for him for over 20 years i testament to that fact .. Remember back in 2008 when Putin was not able to run for the office of president becouse the Russian legal system and constitution made that impossible; WHAT DID THE RUSSIANS DO . they voted for PUTINS BOY Dmitry Medvedev,;  They had the option to vote for democracy human rights and anti corruption ect ect by voting for Boris Nemtsov , but they did not vote for Boris Nemtsov , they voted for PUTINS BOY Dmitry Medvedev, becouse that was the next best thing to voting Putin back into office !! SO YES THE RUSSIANS ARE RESPONSIBLE ALL OF THEM !! Did the Russians say a word about anything the last 8 years of Russian terrorizing Ukraine??? Russians did not say a word when Putin took Crimea in 2014 (other than celebrated in the streets ) Russians did not say a word when Putin occupied Donbas (east Ukraine ) in 2014 Russians did not say a world when Russians GRU spetsnaz forces was working with and "advising "Putin's terrorists separatists in east Ukraine shooting down a civilian jet MH 17 no they did not !! in-fact what they did say was that is was not Russia but Ukraine that shot down the civilian jet and tried to demonize and blame Ukrainians for what they themselves the Russian did !!! Russians did not say a word about the 18000 Ukrainian civilians that have been killed in east Ukraine since 2014 by Russia proxy war in East Ukraine !!! BUT NOW WHEN RUSSIAN ARE COMING BACK HOME TO MOSCOW IN BODY BAGS NOW THERE IS THOUSANDS OF RUSSIANS SHOUTING NO WAR AND WAR IS BAD """
    2
  14. Putin did not begin the undercover proxy-war in 2014 so that it would end in peace, independency and prosperity for Ukraine and its people. and he did not start a all out war in 2022 for the independency and prosperity for Ukraine and its people This war does not hinder Putin, it facilitates his goals instead. Putin started it so it would end with the defeat of Ukraine and the Ukrainian peoples/ nations aspirations of true self-government true independence and democratic nation, that was fare away from the hegemony control and orbit of Russia … IN OTHER words with our collapse of Ukrainian society. It helps him keep Ukraine on the Kremlin hook and hegemony control and helps Putin feel himself as an influential leader negotiating with the West. So, why would he need peace? And before someone starts up about Russia right to protect itself from the "western incursion and decadent western incorrectness of political arrogance" (whatever that means ) and therefor Russian needs a "a broader sphere of interest in Ukraine " Let me ask you this ; Who gives Putin the right to have "a broader sphere of interest in Ukraine " we live in 2022 not 1822 ??? What about the people who live in "that so called sphere of interest" that is the sovereign country of Ukraine don't they (the Ukrainian ppl.) have an " sphere of interest in Ukraine itself " ? Shall the Ukrainians just bend their knee and behave as slaves, and become some sort of quasi 2nd class nation/ country, and have their society run under the heal and accept being kicked by Kremlin's boot of the " sphere of Russian interest " ; Should Ukraine just roll over and let Russia controlled Ukraine for the sole benefit of Putins klan agenda and the geo political intrs. of the Moscow Kremlin kleptocracy elites?: And let Ukraine become some sort of quasi geographical entity for political advantages of the Kremlin ? Or should Ukraine stand up and fight against such tyrannical thing as PUTINS "sphere of interest" as the independent European self governing state it is FIGHT for freedom, sovereignty and self-rule ?? FACT !!! Ukraine was forced into this war by Russia not Russia by Ukraine (or anyone else ) Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has no choice he needs to now be the president of a country, that is in a war defending its country and ppl. against a brutal evilaggressor. And the authorities of the aggressor country do not want any peace. (If the Russia army stops fighting today and goes home back to Russia tomorrow there will be NO war If Ukraine stops fighting today there will be NO Ukraine !! ) But like I say if Russia has no intrs. in western democracy and they feel Russia society values and norms living is so much better than what they say is the despicable arrogant western world, iF THATS THEY FACT then just stay in Russia stop living inside the west stop buying houses , sending your kids to western schools for a western education and holidays to the western world and stop using western products and technology no prob you go do you; you go be Russia no one is stopping you !! Why not try and stop emulating the west will at the same time rejecting the west and then on top of it claiming to be its equal .. here is a thought if you are the emulating the west you are a copy and a copy is just hard core evidence that the original is the better !! If your Russki Mir (Russian World ideology /society ) was better then the western world; why do you not 100% just stick to being Russian why are you emulating everything that is western !! The answer is clear becouse its better then your Russki Mir !! Ukraine, Georgia , Moldova the Baltic's and the rest of Eastern Europe don't want your Russian world (KGB Putin Stalinism strong man BS ) they want western democracy freedom and choice so let them make their own future there own mistakes and there own success those ppl. countries and nations don't want your Moscow /Kremlin HEGEMONY called Russki Mir or your so called Russian greatness of special rights of so called 3rd Rome !!   Let's take a look at Ukraine and the same goes for Georgia and other countries that Moscow wants to bully and kick around !! Ukraine is a sovereign nation with rights and should be free to govern itself. Russia as a political entity has never had the best interest of the Ukraine and its people at heart. The Ukrainians have a distinct and rich culture, their own language, and a desire for self-rule, liberty and freedom to make decisions of its own. Russia wants to control Ukraine so it can obtain its resources for its own benefit (as has happened throughout history). Ukraine in its east and south has in-fact the 3rd biggest oil and gas reservers in Europe and should those resources start getting taped and sold to the west then Russia has a massive competitor on its hands for the European market !! You don't believe me google Ukraine shield gas reserves !! Russian control has never been for the benefit of the Ukrainian people. BUT HERE"S THE REAL POINT: even if it had been, Ukraine is still a sovereign nation and has the right to rule itself!!! The Russian state has sought to control Ukraine and to deceive the rest of the world into believing that there is no Ukrainian culture or language, and that Ukraine is simply a dissident Russian state through use of propaganda and oppression has repeatedly attempted to wipe out the Ukrainian people and culture. Do I need to mention the millions of Ukrainians killed by the Russian government? The fear and repression of Ukraine under Russian rule? The families lost behind the "Iron Curtain?" The Holodomor genocide when Russia killed 10 mill Ukrainians in 1933 - 1934 and after that replaced then with ethnic Russians manly in the east of Ukraine (todays Donbas ) for crying out loud? And that is why after 1991 the Ukrainians rally around their rich and beautiful culture - because it is THEIRS. And because they deserve a voice of their own, and to live free from the oppression of of foreign state that seeks to exploit and obliterate them! Russian controlled soviet union former satellite states like Poland, Romania, and Czech the Baltic states, Slovakia ect ect ect ...couldn't wait to join NATO and the EU to get as fare away from Russian hegemony control as fast as the possibly can at the time . If the Russians weren't suchaaaaholes, they wouldn't have to worry about EU NATO and former satellite states like Poland, Romania, and Czech the Baltic states, Slovakia ect ect ect running too the front door of EU and NATO . (PS : yes i agree not all is perfect in the west but is why better and has always been why better than anything Russia has come up with in history ; And that is why ppl from all over the world (including Russians ) move to Europe ,UK and US in the millions !! ;  For all its faults that the western world has and it has a few, it still is 10000 times better than Russia , Africa or china !!! I mean no one is building a wall to hold ppl. inside like Russian controlled Soviet Union did the US is in fact building walls to stop ppl. for coming inn and so dose European countries as well )

  17. And yes NOT every Russian is a Russki mir Putanist , just like NOT every German back in the day was a NAZI .. ( but every Russki mir Putanist is a Russian ) And yes just like the Germans before ww2 had the silent majority just being the average everyday German that was going about he / her day we today have Russian doing the same was they are NOT taken responsibility for the EVIL within their community and not speaking up against the evil within their community and are therefore indirectly GAVE WAY FOR that evil of ideology to prosper and expand and give way to the sick IDEOLOGY that their governments promotes .. And the same is within RuZZia TODAY !!!  The sheer amount of approving and cheering comments by ordinary Russians in response to videos depicting the atrocities against UKRAINIAN civilians and prisoners of war in Ukraine were just as shocking to Ukrainians as the war itself. We had somehow grown accustomed to the war, but the realization of who we have been living alongside all this time without even knowing it is still horrifying. Those barbaric creatures referred to themselves as Ukraine brotherly people. One can only imagine what they might do to those they consider their enemies given the opportunity. Negotiating with Russia is akin to negotiating with Ebola. Allowing Russia to remain undefeated is like undertreating a deadly infection – it will only return stronger. This is why any peace agreement that doesn't ensure a clear victory for Ukraine is merely a temporary ceasefire

  23.  @davidlambert855  Russia says NATO is using Ukraine as a nuke base and therefore letting Ukraine into NATO is to close to Russian borders is BS argument because NATO is already 150 km away to StPetersburg via Estonia and 500km via Latvia to Moscow (there is about 800km from Kiev to the Russian capital !!) the concerns of the Russian Federation regarding the possible admission of the Ukraine to NATO is merely a cover for a fear of democracy developing on its frontiers and therefor a threat to Putins dictator like leadership  the modern authoritarian obsession with civil society repression dates back to how all NON-rational agent/ or rational being like exs KGB Putin is and how this paranoid ppl like him think and acts in other words "You Can’t Assume a Nut Will Act Rationally," and a nut that is manic-paranoid and narcissistic like KGB Putin is a special kind of nut !! . The argument of Moscow that Ukraine borders are dangerously close to Russia and its capital so Ukraine can not join NATO It is absolutely irrelevant in this day and age!!! Nobody wants to be a "buffer country". The whole concept is demeaning to an independent nation. Because Russia has also had and always have had at all times some Russian nuclear submarines plant off the cost of western nations coastlines armed with nuclear warheads YES !! load up with tactical nukes missiles and those subs are there 365 days a year undetected and reddy to launch the nukes or/and even drones with small nukes from there lunch base platforms ( Russia has its subs on nations porch as Putin likes to say) So Putin's reasons are weak to say the least his BS argument is they have (the west ) nukes on our porch (on the Russian borders act act )of of our beloved city of Moscow and Russia we need to react !.. . And Exactly JUST LIKE RUSSIA can and do have nuclear submarines (with nuclear warheads) plant of the cost of western nations coastlines; SO DO WE HAVE and the the west do it as well we plant our subs of the Russian coastline; Becouse the UK , France and USA has the same capabilities and their tactical nuke subs are planted, just out of Murmansk and in the Baltic sea and in the north pole and the Baltics sea !!!! Don't forget Estonian is only 150 away from St Petersburg if in the baltic sea or near Finland we are talking 2OO km its nothing !! SO LIKE I SAY THE ARGUMENT THAT UKRAINE WILL BE USED AS LUNCH PLATFORM FOR NATO IS JUST BS NATO DOES NOT NEED UKRAINE AS A LUNCH PLATFORM !!! (MAYBE BACK IN THE 60S this argument was a thing bit today with the tech of today its not an argument BUT NOT TODAY ) NATO is not a threat to Russia. Putin is using it as a bogeyman to distract from the poor living standard. Every Muscovite gets fed their daily dose of "Geopolitika", "Nuclear Weapons", "Russia Superpower" Putin the strong leader , US weak and so on and so on ... . It numbs the hunger and the cold for the average Russian with his Bolshevik mindset and sorrow of the loose of USSR superpower status . And her is a thought .. if and before someone comes with the Cuba nukes back in the 60s argument let me tell you this it was back in the cold war a was another time all together and The main difference is that Castro invited Russia with their missiles to Cuba to threaten the west while Ukraine’s young democracy has been invade in 2014 by a nuke power Russia and Ukraine is trying to protect itself from Putin’s dictatorship and aggressive actions of war, that has already killed 18000 Ukrainians forced 1.8 mill internally displaced Ukrainian refugee fleeing Russian aggression running away from Russian bombs that are hitting their city homes and schools ; And lets not forget Russia annexed part of Ukraine and is at this very moment running a proxy war inside East Ukraine to destabilize the county ! So if Ukraine is ask for some help it is understandable they are NOT asking any US or other western nations to send soldiers they are asking for some defensive weapons to protect themself and their families , Ukrainians are more than willing to do their own fighting .. So if the Ukrainian parliament and government are NOTdominated by CIAcontrolled «neonazis» and «fascists.» that are attacking Russians inside UKRAINE (and they are not the President of Ukraine is in fact Jewish himself ) and the argument of NATO getting to close is BS then what did Russia invade East Ukraine and Crimea for back in 2014 and why is Russia still acting as it does over Ukraine ?? Lets take a look shale we ? 1. Putin needs to deflect his people from domestic facts of economic problems of his gangster style corrupted control inside Russia.. 2. Russian is stealing the vast iron and coal resources in east Ukraine.. 3. Russia is stealing the newly found Oil deposits in the black sea and Azov sea 4 Russian only invaded after it was proved by geologist that Ukraine in fact has the 3rd largest gas fracking reserves this was something they only found out about in 2013 ..(Russia and Putin was afraid if a EU / US friendly government came to power in Kiev the EU and USA will move in start gas production and the EU will start buying its gas from Ukraine and not Russia ) Ukraine has Europe’s 3rd largest shale gas reserves at 42 trillion cubic …Russia’s silent shale gas victory in Ukraine The vast shale gas reserves in the separatist-held Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions are an important element not to be overlooked when analyzing the Ukraine crisis,

  24.  @davidlambert855   Ukraine territory is a whopping 603,628 square kilometers (233,062 sq mi), Russia at one point  occupied a total of 161,000 km2 (62,000 sq mi) or almost 27% of Ukraine's territory and some has been librated so now we are down to 119,000 km2  What really gets me is that some ppl. are now saying why does Ukraine not just let Russia have the areas /land it’s just a small part of Ukraine anyway..... A small part of Ukraine ...WE ARE taking about a land mass is 119,000 km2  In EU terms thats the size of Belgium, Holland, luxembourg all put together.. In UK terms that the size of all of Scotland and 80% of England all put together !! In US terms is the size of South Carolina, West Virginia all put together !! Why the f. should Ukraine give Russia all that land for what?

  25.  @davidlambert855  All the Eastern European countries has more or less joined NATO because they was scared of Russia and want make sure they will stay independent, (and the same goes for the EU financial independence ) Nobody forced Eastern European countries to join , NATO or the EU all of them came running and begging and knocking on the door of NATO and EU by themselves, asking and begging to be let into The EU and NATO  !! On a side side note ; Election under a gun with tanks and thugs standing over the voting boxes is not an election it can not be a free and legal election...Referendums vía gun point isn't a referendum, it's racketeering. Something that Russia knows oh so very well how to do. YOU CAN VOTE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN It will never be legal as long as Russian army is there and as lone as it is an illegal gov. put there by an occupying force

  26.  @davidlambert855  Lets look at som historical facts about the Kremlin and how the kremlin always acts .. Russia back in the day, sent troops to then East Germany, Hungary & Czechoslovakia before to prevent them from leaving Warsaw Pact military alliance of communist Kremlin Rule .. Today in our day and age Russias Kremlin has annexed Abkhazia, South Ossetia in Georgia and subjugated Chechneya, in 2000,s. And now, Russia has annexed Crimea & Luhansk, Dohansk, in Donbass region of Ukraine in the pretext of "people's choice". and fake elections and Putins climes like Hitler before him also did came with claims and faulty myth making of" liberation " Russias action violates to very important agreements with Ukraine Budapest Memorandum in 1994 & Minsk Agreement in 2017 of which Russia is a signatory. "Old habit is really hard to die." when it comes to holding agreements for the kremlin .. European Court of Human Rights If Russia says it fears of NATO aggression for preventing Ukraine in joining it because Kremlin says Ukraine extremists will then attack together with NATO Russia . But, why is it Poland, Latvia, Estonia, etc.(have long been NATO members) has not attack Russia together with NATO ? The truth is NATO  had never yet fired in anger one shot in direction of Russia NATO has never ones violated any borders of Russia NATO has never once violated Russian sovereignty?; Did any NATO country invade Russia ; like Russia has done with Moldova 1992 , like Russia did with Georgia in 2008 like Russia did with East Ukraine and Crimea in 2014 like Russia is doing now in Ukraine 2022 ! So to sum !!! They didn't !!!! Let's look at western history on such issues in comparable to Russia !! . US did not stop France when she left NATO before(France has withdrawn from NATO in 1966). THE FACTS AND TRUTH IF YOU TRY AND LEAVE NATO !! When France left NATO in 1966: French President Charles de Gaulle in 1966 took his country out of NATO and he demanded that all military headquarters and installations that was not under French command was to depart from French territory by 1967... That was done by NATO, all NATO countries did this in a respectful peaceful way and within the timeframe set by France it was done within a friendly peaceful democratic way and well-wishing attitudes from all sides, both by NATO countries and France towards each other .. NATO did not try and force France to stay within NATO and force France to have NATO bases inside France; NATO respected France right to self governance and that France was sovereign self-governing nation , and respected the fact that France has the right to make its own choices about its own military defense policy and make its own choices about its own needs or with who or what France wanted to do regarding French defense agreements and alliances!!! So what NATO did, was let France exit out of NATO and NATO respected French ppl. right to make own choice and make their own future for themself, for France the nation, as the French ppl. and their gov. saw fit. Then in 2009 the French gov. and the French ppl. officially asked NATO if France could rejoined NATO's integrated military command structure and once more France become a member of the NATO defense pacts, France was once more welcomed back into NATO with welcoming well-wishing attitude by NATO members at the time ... !! Now after Russia aggression in Georgia and Ukraine, both Sweden & Finland are joining NATO and becoming members of the defense alliances but; and now we are also seeing other siding w/ the West against Russian aggression against Ukraine; even Switzerland, known for it's neutrality, has also imposed sanctions to Russia. And lets not forget that even Austria, is now thinking of joining, like Finland and Sweden. !! When we look at history the US, on the contrary to how Russia acts the US, didn't use force against Venezuela when and Belorussia when they sided w/ Russia. It's their right as a sovereign country to do so. Moreover, US entered war into many countries to protect its existence, ideology, to hunt down criminals, to arrest drug dealers, fight invaders & to stop terrrorism but, US never didn't annex one inch of their land. SHOW ME A annexed US part of Iraq , Afghanistan , Lydia, Balkans ect ect ect But, Russia is doing the opposite in history . RUSSIA  took a land, and has a history of Annexing other ppl. land Russia took a part of Finland the South Karelia and North Karelia parts of Finland, Winter War of 1939–4 a part of Germany(then, called Konigsberg, 1945 now, called Kaliningrad and Russia took half of Sakhalin & Kurile islands of Japan (two days after atomic bomb was dropped & declared war on Japan at the same time). Russia knew Japan was on its knees, then. Japan cannot defend, even its mainland against Americans, then. Clearly, she took advantage of the situation.

  27. US. and UK., gave Ukraine a guarantee of protecting Ukraine sovereignty and territorial integrity based on the 1991 borders that included Crimea and east Ukraine Luhansk and Donbass.. @ronaldgreene5733

  29.  @davidlambert855  Russia has broken the deployment agreement (Strategic Offensive Reductions Treaty and the New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty of 2010) that had with NATO and the USA when Russia deploys nuclear-capable missile system in Kaliningrad back in 2018 !!! LOOK UP Russia's deployment of nuclear-capable missiles to its Kaliningrad exclave is setting off warning bells in the Baltics and at Nato. NATO is already 500 km from Moscow via Latvia and 150 km from St, Petersburg via Estonia so the argument that NATO will get closer to Moscow if Ukraine joins NATO is BS .. And her is a thought .. if every neighbor you have is running to and begging and wanting to join NATO is it becouse you are such a nice neighbor to be besides or is it because you act like a bully and are aggressive and invade your neighbor lands and are not the good neighbor you claim to be ... Maybe if you act in a more nicer way you be liked by your neighbors in your neighborhood and some of them maybe will want to be around you as well .. The idea that Ukraine is the aggressor in this situation in Crimea and east Ukraine is absurd. “It’s Russia that invaded Ukraine years ago. It’s Russia that is the military occupier of part of Ukraine, in Crimea. It’s Russia that, to this day, is fueling a war in eastern Ukraine. It’s Russia that has failed to implement any of its Minsk commitments… It’s Russia that’s taken aim repeatedly at Ukraine’s democracy. And it’s Russia that’s sending troops to Ukraine’s border, once again. All these actions are violations of Ukraine’s sovereignty and an immediate and urgent challenge to peace and stability in Europe, And before someone comes with the Cuba nukes back in the 60s argument let me tell you this it was back in the cold war a drf. time all together and The main difference is that Castro invited Russia with their missiles to Cuba while Ukraine’s young democracy is trying to protect itself from Putin’s dictatorship! Russia has broken the deployment agreement (Strategic Offensive Reductions Treaty and the New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty of 2010) that had with NATO and the USA when Russia deploys nuclear-capable missile system in Kaliningrad back in 2018 !!! LOOK UP Russia's deployment of nuclear-capable missiles to its Kaliningrad exclave is setting off warning bells in the Baltics and at Nato. Kaliningrad BORDERS Poland and Lithuania (both NATO ) so who put Nuks on the NATO/ Russian borders first Mr Putin ??h? Moscow’s unwillingness to cooperate in the Kaliningrad exclave wedged between Lithuania and Poland, * Koenigsberg, as the city of Kaliningrad was once known, was founded by Teutonic knights in the 13th Century. It was once the capital of Prussia * Annexed by Russia from Germany after WWII. Germans fled or were expelled * It is more than 300km away from Russia, which can only be reached through an EU country * It houses the Russian Baltic Fleet and is the country's only ice-free European port * The philosopher Immanuel Kant spent all his life in the city and died there in 1804 Russia's deployment of the Iskander NUKES serves multiple strategic purposes beyond the purely military. It is intended to remind the Western public - and particularly those in the Baltic republics (Lithuania Estonia , Latvia ) - of the nuclear stakes in facing up to Moscow. It is part of the signaling in a wider information war between Russia is running towards the west , where Moscow seeks to divide the Atlantic alliance and to secure for itself the ability to do as it pleases in what it sees as its near-abroad aka hegemony states so Moscow can exploit those states for its own agenda and resorses . Thus Russian-backed forces control parts of Georgia; Russia has annexed Crimea and backs pro-Russian militias in eastern Ukraine. The problem for Nato is that the Baltic republics, whilst once Soviet territory, are now firmly within the Western camp. It has to draw clear lines to confront Moscow's influence while trying to avoid escalating any crisis further, this is not to the Kremlins liking.. And on a side note Russia’s violations of the Open Skies treaty, and treaty do not come in isolation and come on top of infringements of other treaties.

  30.  @davidlambert855  Claim: NATO promised Russia it would not expand after the Cold War Fact: NATO Allies take decisions by consensus and these are recorded. There is no record of any such decision having been taken by NATO. Personal assurances from individual leaders cannot replace Alliance consensus and do not constitute formal NATO agreement. NATO's "Open Door Policy" is based on Article 10 of the Alliance's founding document, the North Atlantic Treaty (1949). The Treaty states that NATO membership is open to any "European state in a position to further the principles of this Treaty and to contribute to the security of the North Atlantic area". It states that any decision on enlargement must be made "by unanimous agreement". NATO has never revoked Article 10, nor limited the potential for enlargement. Over the past 65 years, 29 countries have chosen freely, and in accordance with their domestic democratic processes, to join NATO. This is their sovereign choice. In addition, at the time of the alleged promise, the Warsaw Pact still existed. Its members did not agree on its dissolution until 1991. The idea of their accession to NATO was not on the agenda in 1989. This was confirmed by Mikhail Gorbachev himself in an interview with Russia Beyond the Headlines: (just google Mikhail Gorbachev Beyond the Headlines:) Mikhail Gorbachev said himself in that interview  : quote;  "The topic of 'NATO expansion' was not discussed at all, and it wasn't brought up in those years. I say this with full responsibility. Not a single Eastern European country raised the issue, not even after the Warsaw Pact ceased to exist in 1991. Western leaders didn't bring it up, either." Also on a side note : if there was a such agreement (and there was not ) the agreement will have been with the USSR and the USSR as a country and legal entity no longer excites any more it is only in the history books and therefor all legally binding verbal or otherwise contract with the USSR is no longer valid and has no legal standing !! NATO operates by consensus.”

  31.  @tasospanagiotou7823  NATO, Nazis, Satanists: Putin is running out of excuses for his imperial war !! Why did Vladimir Putin invade Ukraine? The answer to this question really depends on when you’re asking. In the months leading up to the invasion, the Russian dictator focused his ire on NATO and sought to blame rising tensions around Ukraine on the military alliance’s post-Cold War expansion. As his troops crossed the border on February 24, Putin changed tack and declared a crusade against “Ukrainian Nazis.” More recently, he has sought to portray Ukraine as a “terrorist state” while insisting that Russia is in fact fighting against “Satanism.” None of these arguments stands up to serious scrutiny. Instead, the various different narratives coming out of the Kremlin reflect Moscow’s increasingly desperate efforts to justify what is in reality an old-fashioned colonial war of imperial conquest. Putin has long sought to use NATO expansion as an excuse for his own aggressive foreign policies. This plays well with the Russian public and also resonates among segments of the international community who believe the United States has become too dominant since the end of the Cold War. However, Putin’s attempts to position the invasion of Ukraine as a reasonable response to NATO encroachment have been comprehensively debunked by his own actions. According to Reuters, Ukraine informed Russia during the first days of the invasion that it was ready to meet Moscow’s demands and rule out the possibility of future NATO membership, only for this offer to be rejected by Putin. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy went public in the following weeks with similar proposals to abandon Ukraine’s NATO ambitions, but Russia chose to continue its invasion. The entire notion that Russia views NATO as a credible security threat was further undermined in summer 2022 when Moscow passively accepted neighboring Finland’s historic decision to join the military alliance. Putin has repeatedly cited Ukraine’s deepening NATO ties as justification for his invasion, but the prospect of imminent Finnish membership provoked no meaningful security response whatsoever from the Kremlin. If Putin genuinely believed a NATO invasion of Russia was even a remote possibility, he would surely have reinforced the Finnish border. On the contrary, in the months following Helsinki’s decision to join the alliance, Russia dramatically reduced its military presence close to Finland and the nearby NATO member Baltic states in order to bolster the invasion of Ukraine. Whatever Putin may say in public, he clearly understands that NATO poses no threat to Russia.

Also these people who advocate this view that Ukraine shroud just give up land and appeasement to Russians wants wishes are also being very ignorant to the fact that there were already treaties in place between Russia and Ukraine where Russia respecting the integrity of Ukraine's borders plus other treaties relating to the seas around Ukraine. Putin has already broken those treaties. Why would Ukraine believe Putin would stick to a new treaty when he's just broken half a dozen of the previous Russia Ukraine treaties and agreements. Russia has demonstrated its treaties and agreements are worthless and you enter them at your great peril.

  34.  @tasospanagiotou7823  Putin did not begin the undercover proxy-war in 2014 so that it would end in peace, independency and prosperity for Ukraine and its people. and he did not start a all out war in 2022 for the independency and prosperity for Ukraine and its people This war does not hinder Putin, it facilitates his goals instead. (If the Russia army stops fighting today and goes home back to Russia tomorrow there will be NO war If Ukraine stops fighting today there will be NO Ukraine !! ) Russians doesn't want to be a part of the western democracy thats fine Ukriane does so let Ukriane do that but the kremlin will not let Ukraine make their own path !! The fact Russia has no intrs. in the western democracy that is ok thats Russias own choice ; (but Ukraine does and Russia needs to back off) and if Russia society feels their Russian values and norms standard of living etc etc is so much better than what they call the "despicable arrogant western world," all Russians and Russia needs to do is just stay in Russia stop living inside the west world; stop buying houses in the western countries ; stop sending your Russian kids to western schools for a western education and stop taking holidays to the western world and stop using western products and technology no prob you go do you; you go be Russia no one is stopping you !! Why not try and stop emulating the west will at the same time rejecting the west and then on top of it claiming to be its equal and even above the west , when clearly YOU ARE NOT !!  . Here is a thought if you are the one emulating the west, you are a copy and a copy is just hard core evidence that the original is the better !!

  37.  @tasospanagiotou7823  PUTINS CLAIM; Putin said ; There was a network of dozens of laboratories in Ukraine, where military biological programs were conducted under the guidance and with the financial support of the Pentagon, including experiments with coronavirus strains, anthrax, cholera, African swine fever and other deadly diseases. Frantic attempts are being made to conceal traces of these secret programs. However, we have grounds to assume that components of biological weapons were being created in direct proximity to Russia on the territory of Ukraine. Our numerous warnings that such developments posed a direct threat to the security of Russia were rejected with open and cynical arrogance by Ukraine and its US and NATO patrons. THE TRUTH AND FACT ; “Military biological programs” The United States makes no secret of the fact that it finances several Ukrainian laboratories under the Cooperative Threat Reduction program to prevent outbreaks of possible pandemics. The origin of this program dates back to the fall of the Soviet Union, when Washington supported transferring military investigations to civilian ones in the former USSR. The Kremlin bases its claims of Ukraine’s “biological weapons” on statements made by Victoria Nuland, the US under secretary of state for political affairs, who detailed the activity of these civilian laboratories. But Russia’s arguments have no credible bases. The Russian offensive in Ukraine, however, has increased the risk that samples in these facilities will escape and spread. All those labs are for civilian medical use and medical research and not military there is a big difference between Biological Warfare Labs and bio Medical Research labs..

  39.  @tasospanagiotou7823  Russia has broken the deployment agreement (Strategic Offensive Reductions Treaty and the New START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty of 2010) that had with NATO and the USA when Russia deploys nuclear-capable missile system in Kaliningrad back in 2018 !!! All these actions are violations of Ukraine’s sovereignty and an immediate and urgent challenge to peace and stability in Europe,

  41.  @tasospanagiotou7823  THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS SITUATION THAT NEVER GETS TOLD IS WHY DID RUSSIA INVADE UKRAINE ??? IT WAS FOR OIL AND GAS !! Russian officials continue to allege that the Ukrainian parliament and government are dominated by CIA controlled «neonazis» and «fascists.» However, in the parliamentary elections, the parties whom Russia labelled back in 2014 as «fascists» fell far short of the threshold of 5% needed to enter parliament back in 2014 and have never since got over that level even today the President of Ukriane is in fact a Jewish Ukrainian so according to the logic of Russians propganda they want us the rest of the world to believe that the Ukrainian parliament and government are dominated by CIA controlled «neonazis» and «fascists.» and the ppl voted in a Jewish Ukrainian person to repersent this so called government of dominated CIA controlled «neonazis» and «fascists.» . The truth however is the same today as it was back in 2014 Ukraine’s electorate clearly voted for unity and moderation and unity with European western views and democratic possess and not separatism or extremism, and the composition of the Ukrainians parliament reflects that fact and have done since 2014 and still does today . So if the Ukrainian parliament and government are NOT dominated by CIA controlled «neonazis» and «fascists.» then what did Russia invade East Ukraine and Crimea for ?? Lets take a look shale we ? 1. Putin needs to deflect his people from domestic facts of economic problems of his gangster style corrupted control inside Russia.. 2. Russian is stealing the vast iron and coal resources in east Ukraine.. 3. Russia is stealing the newly found Oil deposits in the black sea and Azov sea 4 Russian only invaded after it was proved by geologist that Ukraine in fact has the 3rd largest gas fracking reserves this was something they only found out about in 2013 ..(Russia and Putin was afraid if a EU / US friendly government came to power in Kiev the EU and USA will move in start gas production and the EU will start buying its gas from Ukraine and not Russia ) Ukraine has Europe’s 3rd largest shale gas reserves at 42 trillion cubic …Russia’s silent shale gas victory in Ukraine The vast shale gas reserves in the separatist-held Ukrainian regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions are an important element not to be overlooked when analyzing the Ukraine war

  42.  @OurNewestMember  Let's take a look at Ukraine and the same goes for Georgia and other countries that Moscow wants to bully and kick around !! 45.  @ronaldgreene5733  Putin did not begin the undercover proxy-war in 2014 so that it would end in peace, independency and prosperity for Ukraine and its people. and he did not start a all out war in 2022 for the independency and prosperity for Ukraine and its people This war does not hinder Putin, it facilitates his goals instead. (If the Russia army stops fighting today and goes home back to Russia tomorrow there will be NO war If Ukraine stops fighting today there will be NO Ukraine !! )

  46. BEING ANTI PUTIN DOSE NOT MEAN YOU ARE PRO. UKRAINE !!! BEING ANTI PUTIN DOSE NOT MEAN THAT YOU THINK CRIMEA OR EVEN KIYV DOSE NOT BELONGS TO RUSSIA !!! BEING ANTI PUTIN jUST MEANS YOU DONT LIKE PUTIN !! NO SUCH THING AS A GOOD RUSSIAN WHEN IT COMES TO THIER IDEA OF WHAT A FREE UKRAINE IS A good example of this is Zakhar Prilepin In 2010, Prilepin took part in another anti-Putin campaign and signed the appeal of the Russian opposition called “Putin has to leave.” But in 2016 Mr Prilepin became the deputy commander of a battalion in the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” (“DNR”). In 2014 Prilepin supporterd of the occupation of Crimea he also has written in news papers his praise of Stalin’s regime. He wrote a open  letter to the late dictator thanking him for turning Russia aka the USSR into a great state. Russian nationalist writer Zakhar Prilepin openly joined the Russian collaborative forces in the occupied parts of Donbas and says his ultimate goal is to march on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. In Autumn 2016, the writer became the deputy commander of a battalion in the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” (“DNR”). Prilepin himself confirmed the information in interviews to several Russian outlets. The path of Zakhar Prilepin in Russian public life is ambiguous. He took part in organizing the Marches of Dissent which took place in major Russian cities between 2005 and 2008. The slogans of the marches were “Russia without Putin!”, “We need another Russia”, “No to the police state” etc. Their main actors were the Russian oppositionist and famous grandmaster Garri Kasparov, Russian opposition politician Mikhail Kasiyanov, and another oppositionist Eduard Limonov. In 2010, Prilepin took part in another anti-Putin campaign and signed the appeal of the Russian opposition called “Putin has to leave.” “Putin is the system. And all the system has to be changed,” Prilepin explained his position in an interview to a Russian outlet then.

  47.  @Dddd-zb3ui  Let’s look at Ukraine’s disgraced former president, the legitimately elected Victor Yanukovych.

  48.  @Dddd-zb3ui  some ppl. are now saying why does Ukraine not just let Russia have the areas /land it’s just a small part of Ukraine anyway.....

  49.  @Dddd-zb3ui  It might be useful to recap some of the reason why Russia is now an outcast : Russian interference in numerous elections and referendums in EU countries over the last decade; Russia's active disinformation campaigns across the EU; Russian-based cyber attacks targeting numerous EU countries; Provocative Russian military flights in and around EU and NATO airspace; Russia's interference with GPS navigation systems in Scandinavia; Russia's continued deployment of "peacekeepers" in Moldova despite that country's repeated requests that Russian troops be replaced with UN peacekeepers; Russia's 2008 war against Georgia and its continued occupation of some 20 percent of Georgian territory; Russia's 2014 annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region; Russia's intense involvement in the war in eastern Ukraine, which the ICC in November 2016 ruled "an international armed conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation"; Russia's obstructionism in implementation of the Minsk agreements to end the Ukraine conflict; Russia's role in acts of terrorism in the 2014 downing of a passenger airliner (Malaysia Airlines MH17) over Ukraine that killed 298 people; Russia's poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006; Russia's attempted assassination of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal in Salisbury in 2018; among lots of other things to much to even list up .. Period.
