  3. Oh, it's not just "go outside". It's sometimes run outside *with a whiny-looking face*! I have run up to a light in a public space to finish off an annoying half-sneeze. People might wonder WTF, right?

  5. I didn't know about the photic effect until I was 40. My new/first wife told me about it. I spent 40 years not knowing how to finish off those annoying half-sneezes you can sometimes get. Now I know. I don't normally sneeze in relation to the sun, but if I am half-way to sneezing, the photic effect can help me get it out. What sucks is when there is no bright light around to help. Cloudy day? SOL. Edison-style light bulbs? Not likely, not even up close. A small reflection of the sun on a living room picture room, right when I can't get a sneeze out? Amazingly helpful. The light need not be big, just intense.
