@user-sk4wf3ve6z - Whenever I am in the water, I end up thinking how awful it would be to suffer from predation not only in two dimensions but in three. (I think likewise when observing prey that can be seized by flying predators.) Can you imagine how drugged up humans would be if we lived in such an environment? =:-D

Countless videos of harmless cephalopods. Then there is the one of the Humboldt squid swarming the diver (and they could have killed him had things gone farther). Humboldt squid are not octopuses of any kind, but still...that one video is a reminder of how quickly things can go badly. "When keepin' it real goes wrong."

@yeng1855 - If they worked well together, they would be just as willing to eat humans as humans are willing to eat octopuses (alive, no less).

On the bed?! How many lice, chiggers, or ticks can chicken have, and do any of them also feast on human blood? Never mind the bird flu. I love interacting with animals, but I would be careful of outdoor birds since their respiratory diseases and parasites can transfer to humans.

@mysweetpets4904 - That is super cool. On the other hand, there is a super-popular video on the internet of a guy who raised a crow. He describes caring for them as hell. At least as pets, they will totally pester the owners to get what they want and when they want it. It's actually disappointing to watch. You realize the limits of how much animals might actually care about you even if you think the attention they give you is affection.
