Cheney was SO intent on generating a narrative, when the FBI and CIA were not lying for him, he grabbed some folks from the Pentagon and began running a propaganda "intel" office from within the White House. This is all known from public records! Eventually, as a result of being sidelined by this, some in the CIA began to "play ball" and put out "intel" with the spin and even lies that Cheney wanted. As for other countries, some people in those other countries had mutual interests in helping the US start war, so they went along. Britain was well known for being willing to join the propaganda parade, for example.

  5. Oh, but Cheney and Bush left Obama with such a great plan, right? The invasion of Iraq was a terrrible idea for US interests and other countries as well. So many have payed an awful price, including Syrians butchered by ISIS. Syria didn't fall apart because of the Arab Spring. It fell apart as a result of consequences of the US destruction of Iraq.

  10. Let's get this right. The Executive Branch is run by Trump. The Senate is run by Trump's henchman. The SCOTUS has his new loyal appointee. Even the Fed is now loyal to Trump. And you think the US Federal government has it's most powerful intel branch headed by the Democratic Nat Committee? That sounds like Putin talk, complaining just so everybody in US gov't will offer a blood oath to Trump. When the EC was created, states were considered to be more independent than they are today. Now people are more in tune with being all part of one country. Few people want to Balkanize the US and have it fall apart.

  18. It could be orchestrated, as disproving claims of secret conspiracies is difficult. However, it is ridiculous to suggest that people watching the news want to watch another news "item" about yellow vest or Hong Kong protesters. Nothing has changed with regards to those two protests, so there is no "NEWS". Do you realize "NEWS" should be NEW (and significant to the viewer)? I am very concerned for the people of Hong Kong, but I have NO interest in rehashed coverage with nothing new to say. Just because you want people to respond to a situation does NOT make anything newsworthy.
