  1.  @eliaskjrbo8142  - True. I remember some kids who did a great job, but some engineer built his kid the winning car. Even then, the tracks we used definitely had imperfections so whoever raced down the best track each heat typically won that heat, all the way through the finals.

  2. At this point, maybe they should have all kids build their cars in a few meetings so nobody has advantages. Let a few lucky kids with involved Dads get their quality time with Dad in some other activity while the kids learn to do things on their own and with the company of their peers.
