  1. As I see it, for my 2014 Subaru Legacy inner boot's inner clip there is no way to remove it without damaging it, and no way AT ALL can you put one back on - unless you dismantle the sub-frame. I bought the special clip plier from Rock Auto before realizing there is no way on this Earth to get access to the clip. It was already a questionable purchase, now I just look dumb for trying to do the job the right way. The Legacy's inner boot is sooo long, I think it reaches another time zone! Not only that, the whole thing is deep inside a square box of the sub-frame, with no room for the hands to get in there unless you have small, maybe medium hands. Yet another case of auto manufacturers screwing over owners, so maintenance that will be required at some point cannot be done. Unbelievable.

  2. Every single news report I heard started off by saying that the oil tanker hit the other ship, even though the same report would mention the tanker was anchored. Ridiculous, AND it makes the US look even worse after collisions the Navy had in recent years.
