  5. I'm also Irish and I would never try to inject myself into the wishing pot as we needed the civil rights act of 1964 for good reason.. people saw color before character... As they still do to this day.. They even let wealthy celebrities' run the country.

There were no signs on diners that said "Whites only.. except for Irish".. They would need to have a potato and a leprechaun hat on even to notice.
