@annebreitrick6116 I read between the lines. What does an NPC do? They repeat obtuse lines of dialogue without any possible attempt to learn or better themselves. They just say things to keep the fantasy narrative in our hearts and minds lol

@winsomemartinez I think a lot of popular culture does a great job at showing a duality of the things we want on the surface and what w want on much deeper levels. It's why hearing sweet nothings about "saviors" rarely actually helps with what is otherwise a natural problem we refuse to look at without feeling hopeless. That is why a "supreme leader" would just be self defeat and a true leader doesn't want power or status. They want to thrive like all life on the planet and are capable of sharing it while understanding what passes for ethical/sustainable productivity. I know this is just musing and a long winded rant with multiple tangents but i'm trying to paint a picture lol
