KR Allin That is true.. but I also do not need to validate you either. If its a stalemate.. its a stalemate.. Nothing I can do about that. Not once have I ever argued with someone thinking they will actually listen and learn. I learn a lot from people I disagree with.. because I listen. Just gotta care more about the truth than "winning".

@feffygracie I'm very cerebral.. Its better than expecting something that works on paper to work in real life.. The human element adds too many unknown variables and being cerebral helps me remember what some will conveniently forget to hold onto a presupposition. No one person has the answers.. its a collective effort.

KR Allin Truth is what still exists even when you close your eyes. What good are platitudes without solutions? You sure you came here for a discussion or to preach? I think people make this way too complicated. Ever heard of Occams Razer? Freedom is our greatest strength and weakness. Discipline comes from within.. not policy. @feffygracie I did.. I thought it was Roosevelt.. FDR was a great example of leadership... The internet gave everyone an ingroup to validate their pendulum swing.. If Thats what you mean about balance.. It might be a problem with the attention span.. Choosing sensationalism over mediocrity causes the divide in a country that celebrates individualism.. We do need to reign it in if it is to truly have value. I think its why China has that much control over its citizens and I would rather it be a mess than radical authoritarian any day.

@feffygracie Attention spans have to do with dopamine so all the cartoons and video games threw that into imbalance.. The less stimulation, the easier it is to focus for longer periods of time. Try asking kids to give up video games lol
