Crime didn't start up in our country 2 years ago and on a scale its pretty equal.. Depending on where you delegate the blame.. Conservatives sure love their private prisons and draconic laws though.

I blame oversight and negligence on crime.. Poverty mixed with a slap in the face is far more motivating than any protestant work ethic or picket fence.
