@stokeslyon2963 $87k a year per inmate.. prisons at max capacity. Didn't Reagan shut down our mental health facilities? The 8th Amendment is an appeal to the concept of due process... it all adds up.. Guilty until proven innocent is just not how it works. So we set aside our prejudice until conviction.
