@JohnDoe-ew3xt By not declaring a national emergency and not delegating to experts in medical fields because it "looked bad" to his demographic and constituents. Essentially he didn't do his only job so he could avoid the embarrassment of what was inevitably to come. He spread propaganda instead.

@JohnDoe-ew3xt Elected officials are not experts. A national emergency would have gotten his followers to accept the civic duty of a health crisis. Instead they exacerbated it in the spirit of half baked anti establishment rhetoric.. That he fed to them.. Why would you trust someone who never learned about science to make medical decisions? The president is suppose to heed the council of men/women smarter than him or else he is flying blind. They are just elected officials.. not doctors. It doesn't mean he loses power.. it means he is leadership. A captain needs a navigator.

@JohnDoe-ew3xt I am rejecting your examples as talking points. Where is your evidence that masks/vaccines were not useful in mitigating a virus? Along with the 6 feet rule.. that was our best bet. Due to how covid is passed on via moisture. Like coughing and sneezing? Masks and vaccines help eliminate the symptoms and your spit from getting in the air. Washing your hands and not touching your face helps as well.

@JohnDoe-ew3xt I acknowledge that you believe it. I think Fauci was a scapegoat for people who could not understand what civic duty means. A social contract where you have a responsibility not to get other people sick. Aside from avoiding a hard quarantine.. The methods we used were adequate... When used in tandem with the 6 feet rule.
