So.. Why did we spend more on our military in the last 40 years than the other 9 top countries combined (6 being allies)? We can't even get rid of a Mexican Cartel to solve the immigration "crisis".. If you ask me.. That money we spend on the military has done only one good thing.. Nagasaki and Hiroshima hasn't happened here..

@kirkplane I only bring to light military spending because of the resurgence of Austerity politics. Spending 7 trillion on the failed illegal war vs spending money on the poor and minorities.. Gee.. Who will I choose? You would think it is that easy.. Most choose the opportunist that has had everything handed to them already.. mostly because they lose their minds, throw a fit and completely disrupt the whole world to get it.

@kirkplane No I mean that I was only ok if we spend that amount on the military for the last 5 decades because it was suppose to help the underdog not get devoured by the whimsy of the mad kings in this world.. America doesn't have the best reputation.. I mean we did drop 2 nukes on heavily populated cities and enslaved many.
