@themattaos1120 You are catching me making generalizations. I'm using strong language but you are seeing past all that. No, not all religious people are sanctimonious goons... but enough are to question the purpose or value of religion.

@themattaos1120 I wouldn't say a word about anyone's beliefs if they were not trying to affect legislature and persecute minorities based off of cherry picking biblical laws that they do not follow themselves.

@themattaos1120 It is falling because it makes supernatural claims that mimic every other mythology.. Without indoctrination there is no reason to believe in fantasies.. When religion becomes political... I question their status as a protected class. Churches are tax evasion cults.

@themattaos1120 Not allowing alcohol in your house is technically a religion.. but let's compare that to centuries of indoctrination into one of the primary religions. Holy wars, social segregation, tribalism, a tower of babel is just to name a few of the pitfalls in the mainstream churches. Religion poisons critical thinking and independence. Fear of alcohol is not healthy.

@themattaos1120 Atheists reject a claim.. that is not belief. If I tell you fairies exist does that make you part of an "atheist religion" if you reject my claim? Heck, fairies could exist.. have some faith.
