  1. The video presents a false dichotomy. I am not restricted to choosing between a virtual world and the real one. I can experience each at different times and for different purposes. It is true that I can go outside and touch grass at my local park with my dog, and I do that regularly. What I cannot do, however, is travel to mars and see what it is like to stand on the surface. That is something I can only do with a VR headset.
