It's perfectly appropriate to feel bad for the tremendous suffering of the people of Gaza and, at the same time, acknowledge that this war is a just cause of action. The people of Gaza still, as of only a couple of weeks ago, widely support Hamas and think the attack of October 7 was justified. This is a war. Starvation, disease, and death by bombs and guns are things that happen in a war. For as long as the people of Gaza continue to support the armed forces waging a war against Israel, they get to live in a war zone. That is a sad, brutal fact of life. If they decide that they would rather not live in these conditions, that they aren't particularly fond of watching their children starve to death, then they have the option of not supporting Hamas. For as long as they value their support of Hamas more than they value the lives of their children, they will continue to watch their children die in war. Such is life.
