  1. Perhaps if that nation of 5.3 million people had chosen to have peace with Israel, they could have had a prosperous country. The Palestinian people have repeatedly refused all offers of statehood and have refused to live in peace alongside Israel. Palestinians must bear some responsibility for their own future.

  2. Why is the pressure on Israel alone? Does the world not realize that there are two groups fighting in this war? Where in the world is the pressure on Hamas to release the hostages and surrender?

  3. It's hard to say. Ultimately, there needs to be some strong organization that is not Hamas in charge of the territory. I'd prefer an international organization like UNIFIL in collaboration with the IDF.

  4. How many of that 18,000 are Hamas fighters? They claim a force of 35,000 so that means there's another 17,000 left to go.

  5. I did notice that the WHO guy talked lots about trying to serve the medical needs of Gazans but didn't once mention any effort to try to provide medical care to the remaining hostages.

  6. Al Jazeera is so absurdly dishonest; don't believe anything you see there. They were probably using footage from the Syrian war or something.
