There's not enough water for that. We've basically not yet had rain this season so far. It'd be easier to just dig out and let ocean water flood the tunnels. Gaza is right on the coast.

@UltimateProHacker They used to pump water from wells and desalinate using fuel. Israel cut off the supply of fuel so now they turned off the pumps to save fuel for rockets. They would rather kill than drink.

The problem is that we basically tried that. Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005 and the result of Palestinians choosing their own leadership is that that leadership commits the atrocities we saw on October 7.

@RealRandomVideos No one cares about whether or not crops can be grown there. There are much bigger issues.

@justinarich Israel won't use chemical warfare. Israel is a modern, western army that, despite what the internet buffoons will tell you, doesn't commit war crimes like that.

@UltimateProHacker And the generators used to ventilate their tunnels? Which fuel are they using for those?

@UltimateProHacker The Hamas tunnels are much deeper and longer than the VC tunnels. They do have fuel stored. Hamas has an estimated 250,000 liters. They just won't use it for things like water or hospitals because they don't care about the people.
