  3. What I find most fascinating is just how deeply his take is fundamentally an American way of looking at things. Most people in Israel and Palestine are not Americans. Most of them have never been to America. I get that he is trying to offer his particular perspective and that his perspective is American, but it really feels like he has spent very little time truly interacting with communities that are not American.
