There is no such thing as Nuclear 'War' it will be a mere obliteration depending on who drops first. But if what you say is true and that having Nukes is some form of forcefield from other Nukes, the future of the Planet will be nothing more than Nuclear powers dominating those without, just like now. However India and Pakistan may change that game someday.
