@kaisergrendel Where do you think their salary comes from and the money they spend? They most certainly don't want to be handing out around $2.5 billion a fortnight for people to do nothing, which is what's happening now...

But one fact is certain, no Government wishes to have their economy implode around them... Please explain who it is, and why someone has chosen to pay Victoria exorbitant amounts of money to milk a lockdown.

@kaisergrendel The reason they didn't go directly to a stage 4 lockdown was to keep the economy going as much as possible,therefore more income, nothing more. Not sure what level of conspiracy theory you're pushing but none of them hold weight.
