  1. Humour is subjective...I'd choose Bill Burr over all of these....Though The greatest comedians of all time don't necessarily all hail from America. While they do produce great ones... Billy Connolly,John Cleese and Ricky Gervais are huge comedic personalities and have had a major influence on the scene, but then British humour is different and often lost on American crowds.... See any Episode of Graham Norton where the guests include a British,irish or Scottish Comedian and an American for any proof...not to mention Graham Norton himself.... When a genuinely funny joke or anecdote is told, the American will, out of politeness and the mere fact they are on television give a slight smile or a chuckle, yet even some of them who are big time actors can't convince that they even got it....or they genuinely didn't find it funny hence the difference in humour.

  4. Daniel Flores Gervais has had a pretty big impact on the scene in recent times....Perhaps not stand up wise, though he is definitely a good writer and is evident in the multiple success of the television series he is involved with
