  4.  @DavidGetling  I know several people who have had covid-19 and only 1 out of the several people didn't come off worse. 4 of them now have long term issues after getting covid, and two were in hospital on ventilators. Two people I know died after contracting covid, they were on ventilators too. The two that died were both type 2 diabetic. Innumerate? You have no idea what you are talking about. The infection rate increased across the country. It was getting out of hand, and luckily the vaccine was created to deal with this in time. It saved lives. 3.4% reported world wide have died in total, over 20 million people, which is far more than flu deaths. This is a contagious virus, and you make it sound like the common cold. It isn't. Okay.
