@Wulfsige-fd2hu This notion that everything political has to be put to referenda is impractical nonsense. Some political decisions cannot and must not be put to public vote. The public are not experts, and so key political decisions that decide the fate of the nation must be handled only by administrative experts who manage the nation state. This is why the UN was only convened by general assembly comprising all member states to the UN and not by public vote. Public voting on decisions to the assembly would cause chaos and would just not work. It would be anarchy and stalemate and nothing would get done.
