  1. If a bank holds treasury bonds the bank will make money from them and a bank should be making money from deposits and savings accounts and loans. If a bank is not making money then a Run on the bank happens and the bank should be shutdown for mismanagement of funds permanently!

  2. You ignore the fact that the bank can print more money to bail out other banks! This is what has happened to keep recessions away and stop them all including 2008! The world is decoupling from global trade because global trade has become stagnant and it’s time to decouple!
