  1. In 1914 Ottoman population was 25 million Arabs, 10 million Turks and around 4 million Christians. On the other hand Russian empire alone had 164 million population. This was one of main reasons why Entente powers really thought they could invade and even colonize Anatolia. After all they had massively larger populations and controlling billions of people with their colonies. So when Arabs and Christians rebelled against Ottoman it was game over for Turks, they would be defeated and even banished from Anatolia. However after 9 years long wars and destruction Turks were still there and even defeated everybody one by one. It wasn't without sacrifices tho, western historians would never tell you that Muslim population of Anatolia dropped from 13 million in 1914 to 10.5 million in 1923. So despite being greatly outnumbered, outgunned and massive casualties western powers still miserably failed. If you think they have a chance now when Turkish population is over 80 million and Turkish army is far far more capable you are only daydreaming..

  2. I really doubt US would leave NATO and can fight against Turkey in that case. It is because it wouldn't stay as regional war, a lot of people see us as a threat not because we have powerful arms etc. Rather because we would never give up and escalate any war, even turning it into another world war. Even if a single missile landed in our country it became a huge crisis like Iraqi missile in 1991 or Syrian missile in 2020 which were apparently just missile engines while they both caused war threats from our government. This is also why we are trying to find a diplomatic solution as hard as we can because otherwise things can escalate really quick. If any country launched a missile barrage on us like these countries doing, next thing we would just declare all out war. I really hope this war will end before further escalations if not then it is really becoming another world war..

  3. Overseas possessions are not a part of NATO pact. So NATO doesn't consider Falklands as a part of defense agreement. On the other hand entire Turkey is a part of NATO article 5 and an attack against it would be considered as an attack against all members. Even then it isn't always followed, for example YPG/SDF attacked against Turkish cities with mortars and rockets dozens of times killing and wounding civilians. None of NATO members considered it as an attack against themselves even if according to NATO article 5 they have to...

  4. Azerbaijani firm which sold Israel oil says it was one time deal and they don't sell oil to Israel anymore. Perhaps they lie about it but there isn't much Turkey can do, according to the agreement Azerbaijan is free to transport oil through Turkey and sell whoever they want. In exchange they made billions of dollars investment into Turkey including massive oil refineries. Most of Azerbaijani oil refined in them and sold as fuel so i doubt there is large amount of oil shipments in any case.

  5. Arab revolt destroyed most of that protectiveness. They wanted to become independent, became western mandates for it and even fought against us shoulder to shoulder with westerners. It is their problem not us if westerners screwed their lands while being mandates. Still we would aid Palestine if they officially request military aid from Turkey. Libya, Qatar, Albania, KRG, Somalia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia they all officially requested military aid and we didn't reject any of them. But i doubt it would happen, Arabs still have 'our own rule and power' mindset which was main reason why relations were bad for decades between us. Not like we want a single inch of their lands anymore but some Arabs still think we do or too proud to ask our aid..
