Such a white sheep you are Ryan! Slavery was so important to those states simply because their economy entirely relied on slave labour while the north was heavily industrialized and wouldn't be affected at all! So southern states had two options abolish slavery and face complete collapse of their economies which would make them lesser states compared the north. Or take up arms and decide their own future!! It is entirely possible even if CSA won slavery was still going to be abolished like 20-30 years later, meanwhile they were going to move huge wealth from north to south and industrialize their states. It was all about MONEY not humanity, not freedom, not American dream, it is just you sheeps who believe such a moronity...
