  1. Turkey also always wanted an agreement to end the issue, for example Turkish accepted Annan plan with 65% of votes in 2004. While Greek side refused it by 75% claiming an UN PLAN was biased and gifting Cyprus to Turkey somehow. So the real problem is very obvious that Greek side wants their old country back without slightest change while Turkish side wants an agreement to gurantee their safety. After all a far right group staged coup and targeted them but even if not a single of EOKA-B member was arrested and faced any kind of trial for their crimes against innocent civilians Cyprus is ''completely safe and democratic'' if you could believe it...

What about at least a smybolic trial against EOKA-B terrorists who killed dozens of innocent Greeks as well?? Ofc not their crimes are forgotten and forgiven only Turkish side has any blame!! Just forget about it, at this point Turkey should ask it's allies to recognize northern Cyprus and aim for full partition...

And your explanation is just a cheap excuse because there is absolutely NOTHING found yet in the disputed EEZ so only God knows what natural resources you are talking about, sea salt?? You people are just two faced jokes really, completely ignoring a far right organization staged coup and killed HUNDREDS of Turkish Cypriots, they even killed dozens of innocent Greeks who were against them, even tried to assassinate Makarios III and they got NO PUNISHMENT at all. But somehow all is fine rather the entire problem Turkey is trying to grab non-existing natural resources, what a comedy...

Because first of all Cyprus isn't a NATO member at all, you don't even know that and could still talk about the issue moronically! Secondly care to explain who killed over 3,000 Turkish Cypriots and displaced over 75,000 as well? Aliens?? Turkey or perhaps Turkish Cypriots did that to themselves in your mind??? If we return to the real world from your ''innocent greeks'' lala land ethnic violence on Cyprus didn't begin in 1974 with Turkish invasion rather began in 1963 when Cypriot government tried to change constitution which gave Turkish Cypriots positions in the government only 3 years after Cyprus' independence. As a protest ALL Turkish members of the government resigned and EOKA began targeting them. The violence contiuned for 11 years until same EOKA members staged a coup and began targeting Turkish Cypriots in large scale that hundreds were killed within few weeks until Turkey invaded the island so you two faced total jokes have no right to completely ignore the struggle of Turkish Cypriots especially while you act like you care about human rights so much. Until there is angreement guaranteeing the safety and rights of Turkish Cypriots Turkey will remain on Cyrpus regardless how much you two faced jokes cry...

Annan plan was a fair UN agreement that Turkish ''invasion'' side accepted by 65% while ''innocent'' Greek side refused by 75% and claimed AN UN AGREEMENT was gifting Cyprus to Turkey somehow!! You are only saying you are all for investigations simpy because you are stuck in this argument while you rather Turkey withdrawing and abandoning Turkish Cypriots to their fate!! Fortunately such a thing will never happen so if you really want peace, if you really want justice for both sides not only Greek Cypriots then you would come up with an agreement. Until that day finally comes Turkish army will continue staying on the island... About natural resources, ENI found natural gas in block 12 which is the furthest point of Cypriot EEZ from Turkey and has absolutely NOTHING to do with Turkish claimed EEZ!! So nope, finding natural gas next to Israeli and Egyptian discoveries in a far away region doesn't prove entire Med is full of natural resources and Turkey is trying to grab these non-exsiting resources, it could be only a cheap excuse to make Turkey look bad..
