@positivelynegative3260 Turkey doesn't back hts in any shape nor form rather Turkey backs FSA or currently called SNA. SNA is at least twice larger than hts and they are a part of this offensive too but only God knows why everybody acts like only hts is there..

If anybody wonders who those people really are can read this comment. First of all the offensive isn't done by hts alone rather with entire rebel alliance which includes FSA or currently SNA. And SNA is at least twice larger than hts so acting like hts is the main force has no ground what so ever. Secondly hts isn't same as isis, in fact they actually fought against isis for years. They are an entirely Syrian group which has ties with qaeda and taliban and share a similar ideology to them. So because of this qaeda connection they were declared as terrorists but they never engaged targeting of civilians like isis etc. SNA is in an alliance with them because they got defeated by Russia, Iran and assadists alliance. But their relations aren't so good, in fact there were conflicts from time to time so hts gaining ground doesn't mean they will rule those places. If Syrians support them, some of them do, especially islamist Syrians support them but SNA has way more larger support than them so in case of an election being held they can not win..

There are almost 4 million Syrian refugees in Turkey alone and over 5 million displaced Syrians in Idlib and Turkish safe zone in Syria already. So there can't more refugees coming from assadist areas, in fact with rebels capturing back Aleppo more refugees might return Syria. We will see how the conflict develops..

Entire rebel alliance is part of the offensive not just hts. FSA or currently called SNA is fully Turkish backed including equipments like gear, arms, armored vehicles etc while hts is not. So if you see a fully geared person then he is most likely SNA while if you see a poor geared person chanting something most likely hts..
