Russians carried some equipment from Syria into Libya with Il-76s too and GNA protested. The weirdest part GNA is Turkish backed same as rebels in Syria while haftar is Russian and French backed. So it isn't only a global message, it is a message to Turks too, perhaps aiming to escalate Libyan war again. Then their ship is sunk only few days later, it is too good to be an accident honestly. Turkey has a massive submarine fleet and definitely capable of launching such an operation. But if they would push this far is the real question, currently there are almost 4,000 US troops in YPG territory and they are still attacking them with drones and airstrikes. If they can do this against US they can surely target a Russian ship too. It seems like Turks ran out of patience and they will actively try to push all foreign forces out of ME..
