Then Max would consume a lot more fuel!! The whole point of Max was making 737s more fuel effiencient so pilots wouldn't need a special training to fly them, win-win right? But in reality 737 Max was significantly different than older 737 models but Boeing kept defending that they were same even if they very well knew the truth which is why they put a stall protection system to Max models in case pilots try to fly it like old 737 models which is why the system was overriding pilots!! But this poorly designed system was only using one sensor so when that sensor had a malfunction the plane locked itself into the ground while pilots who had pretty much no Max training had no idea what was going on or didn't have enough time to disable the system (In second crash)!! This is really murder and Boeing must get several hundreds of billions dolars punishment including prison sentences for those who are responsible...
