  1. Patriarch, not Pope - the only Pope is the Catholic Pope in the Vatican. The Orthodox Church does not have a Pope but has a college of Patriarchs, none above the others.

  2. Sweetie, you are very and inaccurately presumptuous. You forget the Great Schism. I am an Orthodox Christian, not a Roman Catholic, and I am extremely well-versed in the history of Christianity.

  3. Yes, but for the past thousand or more years, the title of Pope has been exclusively Roman Catholic. Baba, Papa are words for father - that is what all priests in both the Orthodox and Catholic, and even Anglican churches are called. The Orthodox Churches refute the supremacy of a single man over the Churches, hence they reject the Pope who is claimed to have that supremacy.
