  1. My parents and their families were Russian émigrés who fled Russia in 1919 and 1921. They were stateless for many years (Nansen passports), and naturalized British in the thirties. They escaped with their lives and not a penny. They never colluded with the UK to bring down the Soviet régime. They were well above such behaviour. They were honest and honourable people, so please don't paint all Russian émigrés from the Revolution with such a broad brush, George.
