@@akailecaflip9658 The male version of this is as bad as the female version, but people are reluctant to condemn it. I am a woman but boys are people, too and just because people are afraid to condemn male mutilation, it does not make it right.

@lindseytchappi1329 Men are human, too and they have to go through some barbaric rituals. They, too, are entitled to a voice and if you do not like it, you can always avoid this chatroom and I say that as a woman, myself.

@miameow4833 A custom does not always make things right. Once upon a time, it was customary to set old women alight because they were considered witches. Thank goodness that we have moved on from this barbarity! Just because something went on throughout the generations in previous times it does not mean that it should be acceptable nowadays.

@supersublimnails5676 I am not OK with male genital mutilation and I come from a religion that practises it. To me, both male and female circumcision are barbaric and they are an unnecessary form of mutilation. Unfortunately, we lack the freedom of speech to oppose it and anyone condemning it is regarded as an anti-***. There is no purpose to it. It is just an outdated, barbaric custom.
